Youth for Peace Project

Project Overview

The Youth for Peace Project is an interfaith initiative designed to empower young people with the knowledge and skills needed to promote peaceful coexistence and constructive dialogue within their communities.

The programme brings together students from secondary schools and tertiary institutions from different religious backgrounds to engage in dialogue, learn about pluralism, and develop leadership skills for peacebuilding.


Objectives

The project aims to:

Programme Activities

Interfaith Dialogue

Religious leaders from both Islamic and Christian communities deliver lectures highlighting teachings that encourage peace and tolerance.

Interfaith Excursions

Participants visit different places of worship to observe religious practices and foster mutual understanding.

Literary Competition

The programme concludes with a competition where participants present essays and creative works promoting peace and dialogue.
